Becoming a reader

• Welcome Desk provides reader registration and self-registration services, as well as the production and issuing of reader cards for those who have already completed registration online.
• Welcome Desk also issues visitor access cards or passes to guests of the National Library of Latvia.

• The Welcome Desk serves as an information point for exhibitions, cultural events, and other activities at the National Library of Latvia (NLL), as well as for the use of the Digital Guide.
• At the Welcome Desk, it is possible to pay for LNB paid services and obtain a parking discount.

Important! Items found or lost in the NLL premises are stored at the Welcome Desk for 3 months.

• The Welcome Desk accepts legal deposit copies and donations for the People's Book Shelf.
